F1 Grand Prix Emilia-Romagna -

INSIDE THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips for you to make sure you don't have any worries during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINKS

You really don't have to worry about going without food and drink during the race weekend. Almost every grandstand has a food zone with refreshments. Italian, of course. So, you're sure to enjoy your meal, even if it's just local street food specialities. There's even a bar and canteen behind the stands on the main straight. Food and drink is usually available in the fanzone as well. In addition, there is also a supermarket on the circuit. You will also be able to eat and drink if you visit the VIP villages at the Tosa, AquaMinerale, or Rivazza corners.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out on the circuit, ensure you have all the information you need saved on your phone, from tickets to maps to information about your favourite riders. Especially on Sundays, there's a risk that the mobile network will be overloaded at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit, and you won't be able to load your mobile data.

Think about the fact that you may not be able to reach your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. Just like the old days when there were no cell phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. The noise is tolerable in the stands, but if you are closer to the track, be sure to wear earplugs. If you are travelling with children, make sure you don't leave them without headphones.

DRESS CODE

If you’re going to the F1 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, it’s best to dress for all kinds of weather. The race takes place in spring, so the weather can quickly change from sunny to rainy. You will also spend a lot of time walking or standing, often on grass or gravel, which can get muddy if it rains.

Wear comfortable shoes that can handle wet or slippery ground, like waterproof trainers, hiking shoes or boots. Avoid wearing white or light shoes, as they can get dirty quickly. Choose clothes that are both comfortable and practical. A good outfit could be stretchy trousers or jeans with a long-sleeve top and a light jumper. Bring a waterproof jacket with a hood in case it rains, and make sure it’s something you can carry easily if the sun comes out.

It’s a good idea to wear layers so you can add or remove clothing depending on the weather. A cap or hat will help protect you from the sun, and sunglasses can be very useful too. Even if the day starts sunny, always bring a poncho or a small raincoat just in case. A light scarf can help if it gets windy or cold. Take a small backpack or crossbody bag for your essentials like ID, tickets, a phone charger, sunscreen, snacks and a water bottle.

If you want to show support for a driver or team, wearing F1 merchandise like a cap or T-shirt is a fun way to do it. Just remember that darker colours are usually better when it’s muddy. Keep your outfit relaxed and practical – not too formal, but also not too revealing. Comfort and function are most important when you’re spending the whole day outdoors.

WEATHER

Always check the weather forecast before heading out on the circuit. Especially in spring, rain is not uncommon in Emili-Romagni. You won't freeze to death;after all, we are in the Mediterranean. But you can't go wrong with a raincoat.
